For the second consecutive year, we created Children of the Night 2025, a 35-minute cinematic television documentary covering the Amsterdam Dance Event for NTR and NPO. The film captures the energy, creativity and cultural significance of one of the world's leading electronic music festivals through a distinctive cinematic lens.
For the second consecutive year, XSAGA Video had the privilege of producing the Amsterdam Dance Event television special: Children of the Night 2025.
In this 30-minute broadcast, we celebrate the artists who shape the night and pay tribute to nightlife culture. Through cinematic performances where art and music converge, intimate portraits and short documentaries, presenter Justin Verkijk takes viewers on a musical journey, capturing how Amsterdam breathed electronic music for an entire week.The programme features emerging talent such as DJ Saidah alongside established artists including Benny Rodrigues, modular synthesizer pioneer Suzanne Ciani, and Elias Mazian, who performs his song Maskers for the very first time. The special also includes an energetic live performance by the acclaimed rave-pop band Confidence Man and explores the intersection of electronic music and activism through a series of inspiring stories.
