How do we bring our partners together during an inspiring year-end event to create greater impact together?
The Netherlands is facing a serious physical activity crisis. It is time to get moving—both literally and figuratively. Achieving this requires all of us to work together, with bold and transformative leadership at the forefront.This was the central theme of the Beweegalliantie's Year-End Event, where a lively panel discussion took place under the guidance of Anne-Greet Haars, featuring three inspiring women leaders. Short pitches from across the country showcasing local initiatives to encourage physical activity provided fresh inspiration. Participants then continued the conversation in smaller groups, exploring how individual local actions can contribute to lasting systems change.A highlight of the event was the presentation of the inaugural Beweeg Award by Maarten van Ooijen, the outgoing State Secretary for Health, Welfare and Sport, to the outstanding initiative Rotterdam Loopt ("Rotterdam Walks").
