How do you organise a National Museum Week when COVID-19 makes physical encounters impossible?

XSAGA initiated a digital Museum Week, with the virtual Golden Masterpiece as its shining centrepiece in the beating cultural heart of the Netherlands.In the middle of Museumplein in Amsterdam, a golden virtual arena rose, within which 400 affiliated museums each placed their own masterpiece. The public was invited to add their own image of hope, comfort, or happiness to this collective Golden Masterpiece.The whole of the Netherlands was able to freely explore and share.
