‘We are allowed again!’ XSAGA built the story of the Opening Night around these three words. The story of the Concertgebouw Orchestra starting its season on Dam Square in Amsterdam. This time not behind closed doors, but in the open air, in the very heart of the city’s cultural centre.
Surrounded by a live, diverse audience, the musicians performed a varied musical programme that was simultaneously broadcast on television and digitally to a national and international audience. XSAGA developed the campaign narrative and was responsible for the entire production.
