With the opening of this unique factory producing specialized cables for offshore wind turbines, TKF is making a significant contribution to the energy transition. In doing so, TKF connects the world in multiple ways.
To celebrate this joyous occasion, various stakeholders gathered along and were treated with the talk show ‘TKF Connects.’ Hosted by Evelien Bosch, the show featured engaging discussions with guests about the necessity of this new state-of-the-art factory and the importance of innovation and offshore wind farms.
With his evocative strings, harpist Remy van Kesteren served as the musical thread of the program. He performed a live soundtrack for the opening film (produced by XSAGA Video), showcasing TKF’s impressive journey from past to present, as well as played during a spectacular performance featuring Wall Dancers who theatrically scaled the factory walls with symbolic cables.
The event ended in a single cable, proudly ‘plugged in’ by CEO Alexander van der Lof and his granddaughter, officially opening the new factory for future generations worldwide.
