Produce the Summit in collaboration with the teams of the City of Amsterdam and the World Cities Culture Forum, ensuring the artistic programme serves as a true showcase of Amsterdam.

As part of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary celebrations, the World Cities Culture Summit took place in the Dutch capital. Culture aldermen and their delegations from 48 cities around the world came together to explore the theme ‘Stronger Together: Culture in a Changing World’.
With a Europe Day programme at Pakhuis de Zwijger, the opening ceremony at Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, panel discussions and sessions at BIMHUIS and Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ, a dinner at the Rijksmuseum, a networking reception at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and the closing ceremony at Eye Filmmuseum, delegates experienced a rich showcase of Amsterdam and its vibrant arts and cultural scene.
Each programme was further enriched with performances by Amsterdam-based artists, including Shishani, Dutch National Opera & Ballet, Clarice Gargard, Jeangu Macrooy, Nai Barghouti, Sons of Jumira, Kurashi Collective, Lisa Konno and Nisrine Mbarki. XSAGA Video was also responsible for producing all film content throughout the Summit.Together, these elements provided the inspiration for meaningful conversations about how arts and culture can help make our cities more open, inclusive and resilient.
