For ARAG SE, XSAGA organized the impressive international ARAG Access to Justice conference at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. Under the guidance of moderator Rick Nieman, we emphasized the importance of empowerment. How can we enable society, individuals, and businesses to gain access to justice? And what challenges do we face in achieving that goal?
Futurist Gerd Leonhard and AI specialists Zack Kass (OpenAI) and Mutale Nkonde (CEO of AI For the People) delved into what innovation and AI truly mean for access to justice. Together with a panel of ARAG CEOs, we reflected on the role ARAG plays in providing access to justice and how their approach has to adapt in each country where they operate, as no legal system is the same.
None other than human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and Black Lives Matter co-founder Ayo Tometi delivered passionate speeches, making it clear that justice can only be made accessible to everyone through united efforts. This message was powerfully reinforced by a captivating closing performance from the ZO Gospel Choir. Their heartfelt rendition of “Something Inside So Strong” moved the audience to tears.
