How can we kick off the festive season on a grand scale, introducing more people to Westfield Mall of the Netherlands as the ultimate destination for holiday shopping?
For four years in a row, we have had the pleasure of producing the spectacular kick-off to the festive season for Westfield Mall of the Netherlands. The annual event Christmas Starts Here, which has grown into a beloved tradition, attracts thousands of visitors and positions the Netherlands’ largest shopping mall as the ultimate Christmas destination.
The festive evening begins with the spectacular arrival of a renowned Dutch artist. OGENE (2025), Antoon (2024), Emma Heesters (2023) and Kris Kross Amsterdam / Zoë Tauran (2022) each arrived in a specially decorated Westfield Christmas tram, before officially launching the celebrations with the push of a button, igniting a spectacular fireworks show.
Following this, 1,000 lucky Westfield Club Members were welcomed to Central Plaza, the heart of the Mall, for an unforgettable live performance by the featured artist. The evening was made even more special for the biggest fans, with an exclusive meet & greet opportunity.
Each year, Christmas Starts Here attracts a significant number of new Club Members, further strengthening Westfield Mall of the Netherlands’ position as the ultimate festive destination.
