How do you mark the start of the festive and retail season, and bring the theme “bringing people together” to life through a physically engaging and publicly appealing activation during the dark days of November and December?
Each year, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Roermond attracts nearly ten million visitors, making it the Netherlands’ second-largest tourist attraction after Amsterdam. Once a year, the festive season is officially kicked off as all stores prepare for the year-end shopping period.XSAGA produced “Let Love Shine”: a unifying event in which a glowing figure walked through the streets of Roermond, switching on the lights of all shops and illuminating the route towards the outlet in a festive atmosphere.The activation resulted not only in a spectacular live event, but also in a film that captured the emotional anticipation of the festive season in a powerful and memorable way.
