Making a difference

For ARAG, XSAGA organised a high-level international congress at the Beurs van Berlage to mark its 60th anniversary. Under the guidance of presenter Rick Nieman, guests looked ahead through the lens of the theme “Making a difference”—exploring what lies ahead and how access to justice can remain available to everyone.

The future quite literally flew over the audience during a spectacular opening by Another Kind of Blue, featuring a unique drone dance performance. Throughout the programme, a series of prominent speakers took the stage. Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands highlighted the importance of an inclusive society, while British bestselling author Richard Susskind and international human rights lawyer Nani Jansen Reventlow delivered compelling perspectives on the future of law and justice.

The programme concluded with former Commander of the Armed Forces Peter van Uhm, who reflected on the personal cost of making a difference.Finally, guests were surprised with a striking reveal of the evening reception and walking dinner: a smoke-filled mystery box that rose into the air, unveiling the next chapter of the celebration to enthusiastic applause.
