How do you celebrate the opening of the tallest building in the Benelux with a limited number of stakeholders, while making the entire city of Rotterdam part of the celebration?
De Zalmhaven in the Musical Spotlight. Commissioned by AM, Amvest and BAM, XSAGA partnered with music movement Audio Obscura to create a spectacular opening celebration. XSAGA recognised that the event coincided with the Amsterdam Dance Event, which inspired an ambitious idea: two DJs performing on top of the 215-metre residential tower. The DJ duo Mind Against delivered a 90-minute set accompanied by a spectacular light show, allowing the entire city of Rotterdam to experience the celebration both live and online.Audio Obscura, together with NOMOBO, produced a unique livestream that attracted more than 40,000 viewers.
